We are seeking an experienced Contract Product Owner to lead a Timetabling Replacement Project for a University. The ideal candidate will not only excel in the Product Owner role but also mentor our Business as Usual (BAU) team, ensuring they understand and can effectively implement the Product Owner's responsibilities. This role is crucial for embedding the Product Owner function within the team for future BAU operations, driving continuous product evolution and process improvements to maximise benefits realisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Ownership: Lead the timetabling replacement project for a University, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and stakeholder needs.
  • Mentorship: Educate and mentor the BAU team on the Product Owner role, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and agile practices.
  • Backlog Management: Create, manage, and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring the development team works on the most valuable tasks.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define product vision, and ensure the product meets user needs.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product development and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Extensive experience as a Product Owner within Higher Education (HE).
