A globally recognised professional services firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to join its Defence & Security Consulting Practice. This team partners with some of the most critical public sector and national defence organisations in the UK, advising on complex, high-impact strategic challenges.
Operating within a well-established consulting business, this is an opportunity to work alongside experts in strategy, transformation, cost efficiency, and operating model design. The successful candidate will lead large-scale client engagements, shape innovative solutions, and influence decision-making at senior levels within the Defence sector.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading consulting projects focused on strategic change, performance improvement, cost reduction, and operating model transformation
- Engaging with senior stakeholders across the Ministry of Defence and other national security clients
- Structuring and overseeing complex analysis to solve operational and strategic problems
- Contributing to the growth of the practice through business development, thought leadership, and team leadership
What we're looking for:
- A strong background in consulting, with experience leading large, complex projects in Defence, Government, or National Security environments
- Proven ability to work with C-suite or senior stakeholders
- Expertise in one or more of the following: strategy development, business transformation, investment decision support, cost optimisation
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an understanding of how technology can enhance client outcomes
- Track record of building and leading high-performing teams
