We currently have an opening for a talented Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for lean / Continuous Improvement to be based at our manufacturing facility supporting key projects.

As a result of our ongoing success, we are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to undertake a pivotal role in support of manufacturing operations. The focus of this position is lean / continuous improvements to achieve increased production output across our assembly and manufacturing operations. There is considerable opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer with a background in lean / six sigma / continuous improvements to make a real tangible difference within manufacture.

This is a role making positive, hands on incremental changes through shop floor presence rather than at a strategic, hands off level.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Utilising your technical acumen to identify areas for change and then manage the implementation of these initiatives through to successful introduction.
  • Standardising work instructions, looking at ways to reduce change over time on equipment, simplify component assembly.
  • Identifying cost saving opportunities and bottlenecks to reduce cycle time.
