As Business Development Director – Managed Services, you are a strategic leader with a strong hunter mindset, responsible for driving growth in a fast-evolving managed services landscape. Based in the UK, you focus on building and expanding new businesses for our world-class Managed Services deliveries.
Previous experience in providing Managed Services in one of the following would be required: Infrastructure Operations, Cloud Operations, Cyber Security, Managed Solutions, DevOps as a Service or Application Support and Maintenance. You are able to recognize customer’s setup and discuss cloud transformation, cyber resilience, digital operations, or functional outsourcing—and convert them into scalable service. You understand how to position value-driven service models that help clients increase agility, optimize cost, and accelerate digital transformation.
Drawing on deep experience in services sales, you lead the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification and solution shaping to contract signature. You collaborate across functions—Pre-Sales, Consulting, and Delivery—to ensure alignment between client expectations and operational capability.
Extensive experience in business development or strategic account growth within managed services or IT outsourcing is essential. A strong network and industry understanding in at least one key sector is required. Demonstrated ability to lead complex sales cycles, including multi-stakeholder and public procurement environments. Skilled at articulating the value of managed services across cloud, infrastructure, application, and digital operations domains. Comfortable with nearshore and offshore delivery models and modern ITSM/SLM approaches. Advanced knowledge in cloud platforms, AIOps, cybersecurity, or data platforms is a plus. Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Collaborate with internal teams to co-create service offerings and go-to-market strategies. Create content cooperating with internal capacities for promotion of narrow services and capabilities solving specific customer problems. Translate industry trends and client needs into actionable business development strategies.
