We are seeking a highly experienced End User Computing (EUC) Architect to join our technology team within the financial services sector. This role focuses on ensuring the resilience, scalability, and security of our email and Microsoft environments, supporting business-critical operations and aligning with regulatory compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust EUC architectures with an emphasis on email resilience and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Define technical standards and policies for email, desktop, and collaboration platforms.
- Lead and support migration, integration, and transformation projects across EUC platforms.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities for Microsoft services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to maintain compliance with financial industry regulations.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in email protection, archiving, and continuity solutions.
- Evaluate and implement third-party tools such as Mimecast or Proofpoint to enhance security and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff and stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an EUC Architect in the financial services industry.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 stack: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related services.
- Strong understanding of email security, archiving, and continuity best practices.
- Experience designing for resilience and fault tolerance in enterprise Microsoft environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of email protection platforms such as Mimecast or Proofpoint (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements specific to financial institutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate / Enterprise Administrator Expert.
- Certifications or formal training in Mimecast, Proofpoint, or related security platforms.
- ITIL or TOGAF certification is a plus.
