The Role
As a SAP CRM Technical Expert, you will be responsible for technical consulting in Utility domain and you will take on challenging design and development projects by using latest technologies in CRM area. In this role you will perform techno functional analysis and design SAP CRM Technical Solution Design and provide development and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Join customer workshops and discuss the functional requirements.
- Create technical design document (TDD) based on discussion with business users.
- Ability to create technical design specifications based on the functional requirements.
- Discuss with offshore development team and work with them to develop the algorithm, batch scheduler, Portals and Zones.
- Engage with multiple teams from various geography locations (e.g., Integration, DBA, technical, testing)
- Validate the algorithm/artifacts if it\’s delivered as per the user requirements.
- Develop test script with testing team and execute those as and when necessary.
- Once the functionality deployed in SIT (System integration testing instance) validate and deploy it to UAT environment. If there are defects raised by user, they need to be fixed.
- Work with user to close the UAT with user.
- Once it is sign off developed artifacts need to move to production with the help of SAP BASIS team.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
- Very good understanding of SAP CRM One Order framework . Mapping the Business Process with SAP CRM, Configuring the SAP CRM system according to the customer requirement.
- Have worked in SAP CRM SERVICES Module. Should have fair understanding of CRM Technical and Functional objects (like hands-on working experience on Service Contracts, Service Order, Service Confirmations, Installed bases, Warranties, Internal Orders, DMR, CMR, Equipment, Service level Agreements, Counters in Service ) .
- Business Object Layer Programming(BOL) and GENIL for SAP CRM 7.0 and above. Strong experience in BSP UI Component workbench and related development.
- Strong experience in Core SAP CRM ABAP with BADI- s, BAPI- s, User exit- s, Functions, RICEF, Smart forms and ADOBE forms development.
- SAP CRM middleware skills which includes middleware architecture, understanding in Integrating SAP CRM and Other ECC systems processes. Troubleshooting & Fixing of Queues and BDOC\’s related to Master data and transactional data in SAP CRM.
- Understanding and experience in SAP CRM base configurations like transaction type, status profiles, organization structures, business roles, Web UI customizing. SAP CRM determination procedures. Events, Action Profiles, Organizational determination and related CRM customizing and configurations.
- Good Knowledge of Business partner creation and partner determination Procedures in SAP CRM .
- Experience in SAP-CRM pricing and knowledge of working in Internet Pricing Configuration ( Not Mandatory).
- Exposure to Application Enhancement Tool(AET).
- Experience and knowledge on IDOCS, Interfaces testing with SAP PI and 3rd Party systems
- Has worked as SAP CRM Technical Consultant at least in 2 projects involving Gas and Electricity.
- Must have working knowledge in Utilities scenarios (B2B and B2C both) in deregulated markets.
- Very good understanding of Utilities specific data model in CRM and ISU.
- Must have working knowledge about market communication (IDE/IDEX) integration configurations in SAP CRM.
- Must have working knowledge about the Utilities Contract Management: Process framework configurations for different business process (Move out, Reversal of Move In / Out, Change in Contract, Product Change etc).
- Must have working knowledge about Interaction centre processes for Utilities: Meter reading, Budget billing plan, Promise-to-pay, Instalment plan etc.
- Web-UI: Configuring UI Business role, navigation bar customizing, UI configuration tool.
- Should be aware of the BSP component and BOL Genil.
- Must have working knowledge of the base configurations for: Business partner, Business agreement, Business transaction, Pricing, Product etc.
- Must have working knowledge of integration between CRM and ISU: BMD and TMD replication, Contract Replication with customer-specific fields, IS-U MDT (Master Data Template) design for CRM data replication, checking/debugging of BADIs for Contract Replication
- Ability to check queues in SMQ1, SMQ2 and issue resolution if the number is too high or failed, BDOC check in SMW01 and error analysis and resolution, ECRMREPL check, EPRODCUST, R3AR2/3/4, R3AS, R3AM1, SMQR, SMQS, Organisational unit.
- Analysis of the failed action in SPPFP along with schedule and start conditions.
- Must be able to implement the designed technical solution using the industry specific standard best practices and customized business logic whenever necessary.
- Ability to identify root cause of system issues in live SAP CRM applications.
- Ability to debug and identify issues in custom ABAP logic implemented via BADIs, ABAP programs, replication, BAPIs etc.
