The Asset Risk Data Steward is responsible for ensuring the oversight, quality and integrity of Asset Risk’s data assets. An expert in the Asset Risk business area, you will also collaborate with enterprise data governance stakeholders to ensure broader alignment on policies, data standards, and support data management initiatives.
Key roles will include:
- Ensure Asset Risk adherence to central and local data governance frameworks, policies and procedures, ensuring data consistency and compliance.
- Maintain Asset Risk data governance documentation and data lineage enabling data transparency and usability.
- Monitor and manage Asset Risk data quality, via dashboards, in a collaborative and proactive manner.
- Ensure governance artefacts are up to date and refined on a regular basis.
- Responsible for the reporting of data governance health & activities across Asset Risk, and coordinate solutions with stakeholders to fix issues and manage risks.
- Responsible for planning, managing and socialising Asset Risk data governance activities and timelines.
- Ensure data roles in Asset Risk are defined and understood, provide training and support wider data literacy best practice activities.
- Responsible for coordinating the Asset Risk Model Risk Management (MRM) framework and ensure practices appropriately align with data and model governance principles.
- Support Asset Risk data and MRM audit & 3rd party engagement activities.
- Support future enterprise data governance & AI governance activities.
- Advocate for Asset Risk data needs.
About You:

Minimum Criteria:
- You will have gained experience of working in a Data Governance or similar role.
- Experience of working effectively with multiple stakeholders (business and technical, enterprise and local) in the delivery of agreed data governance requirements.
- Working knowledge of Data Governance principles, approaches and practices.
- Working knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality tools (e.g. Informatica Axon & EDC, Ataccama).
- Experience of Data Quality monitoring and improvement practices and techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to plan and prioritise.
- Ability to communicate data governance practices & principles with passion and clarity.
