Housing Management CoordinatorSalary £25,838 per annum with great benefits including Health Cash Plan. Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), Monday to Friday, hybrid working in Darlington.

What You\’ll Do

Ensure our customers\’ properties are homes they can be proud of, supporting them by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.

Help customers (especially those with mental health and/or complex needs) with housing benefit claims, ensuring they are received on their rent account.

Issue and sign warning letters and notices where needed, which may lead to attending court.

Turn around vacant or void properties within set timescales to prepare rooms for the next customers and maximise occupancy.

Ensure health and safety compliance and that maintenance standards are met.

You have

Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties.

Know‐how of re‐letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.

Ability to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to your colleagues.

A \”can do\” positive attitude: proactive, well‐organised, and able to work on your initiative.

Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners.

The practical bits

Monday to Friday 9 am‐5 pm.

Based at our supported properties in Darlington; you\’ll spend your time travelling around the properties. Hybrid working between home and supported services.

Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy sign‐ups.

To get from A to B, you\’ll need a valid driving licence and a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we\’ll pay your mileage!

You\’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
