Joining us as either a Pharmacy Services Assistant or Dispensing Technician, you’ll be joining an enthusiastic and hardworking team of colleagues that work together to make a positive difference to the lives of their patients. Your duties will include: Delivering exceptional customer service, providing health advice and services to our patients through engaging conversations. Ensuring that every customer leaves the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs. Keeping the shop floor fully stocked and ready for customers through accepting and working deliveries and completing stock takes. Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary, including ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, and supporting the collection of prescriptions, ensuring the safe supply of medicines. Assisting with sales and general store duties, including creating product displays and cash transactions. The working days for this role are Monday 9:00am to 5:40pm, Tuesday 9:00am to 1:00pm, Friday 9:00am to 1:00pm, and alternate Saturdays 9:00am to 12:30pm. About You: We’re looking for individuals with a genuine passion for customer service and who can be ambassadors for healthcare in our pharmacies. To succeed, you should demonstrate: A natural ability to build meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues. An upbeat, caring, and confident manner when serving and advising patients. An enthusiasm for problem solving and a willingness to take on new challenges. A methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks, using initiative and teamwork. Experience in retail and using stock control systems is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Applicants should have their Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant qualification or Level 3 Dispensary qualification.
