Imperial Brands PLC is seeking an ESG Data Management and Software Support Assistant to join our team for the successful implementation of a new Non-Financial Reporting software solution. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a major software implementation that enhances sustainability and compliance efforts within the organization. As a short-term role, you’ll have the chance to make a high-impact contribution to critical business operations.

Position Type: Fixed Term Contract (6 months)

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Set up and configure the new Non-Financial Reporting software to align with organizational needs.
  • Conduct system testing, identify issues, and ensure data integrity through thorough analysis and reporting.
  • Oversee data migration processes, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all data before and after migration.
  • Roll out the software across the organization, including creating user guides, training videos, and other essential documentation.
  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective adoption of the new software system.
  • Monitor the system pre- and post-launch to ensure smooth operation, and conduct ongoing quality checks to meet required standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas), with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a data or technical role, preferably with software implementation projects.
  • ESG Knowledge: An understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics is desirable.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple tasks.
