Our client is a UK market leader within consumer tech accessories, known for their innovative and vibrant product offering. With major retail partnerships already secured, they’re investing in their commercial team to further maximise their market presence and deepen their customer relationships.
They’re now looking for a dynamic and strategic National Account Manager to handle key retail and distribution accounts. This is an 80% farming / 20% hunting role, where you’ll be responsible for nurturing existing partnerships while identifying opportunities to increase revenue and solve customer pain points creatively.
- Build and maintain relationships with UK retail and distribution accounts, driving profitability and uncovering customer pain points
- Develop and execute strategic account plans (80% farming) while also prospecting new business opportunities (20% hunting)
- Analyse sales data and performance metrics with planning teams to keep forecasts up to date
- Partner with Marketing and Product on NPD launches, in-store activity and promotional strategies
- Support global expansion efforts, with potential to manage international accounts
Proven track record as a National or Key Account Manager in retail, tech or channel/distribution sales. Consistently hit KPIs and driven YoY account growth. Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel and comfortable turning data into insight. Creative, strategic thinker with a “hungry”, energetic and personable approach. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for client visits.
Office-based role with core hours Monday–Friday. 8.25 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing by 1 day per year after year 2). Personal bonus of 15% of salary paid annually, plus discretionary annual bonus. Pension, private medical, life assurance and free yoga sessions. Laptop and company phone provided.
