We\’re Lear For You HR Specialist I – Hebron, OH As a member of the Human Resources team, the HR Specialist will be responsible for: Interviewing and training employees Addressing complaints and resolving issues Assisting in policy and procedure development Processing, verifying, and maintaining documentation related to staffing, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations The Role: Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Overseeing daily HR functions for team members Explaining company policies, benefits, and procedures Assisting with onboarding and new hire orientation Recording employee data, including hire dates, absences, counseling, and terminations Handling administrative tasks such as payroll processing and using Kronos and HR Service Center Assisting with recruitment, interviews, and employee selection Completing required paperwork and reports diligently Developing and implementing cost-saving strategies Communicating policy updates to the team Conducting new employee orientations Coordinating training on compliance, ethics, safety, etc. Responding to policy and program inquiries Maintaining confidentiality regarding employee disclosures Your Qualifications: Associate\’s degree or higher 2-4 years of HR experience Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment Knowledge of HR operations and activities Lear Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to diversity.
