Role Overview:
API Automation Tester responsible for creating automation scripts, executing automated tests, and reporting on test automation progress.
Responsibilities:
- Develop automation scripts including estimates, scripts, and pre/post conditioning.
- Execute automated tests and collate evidence for progress reporting.
- Communicate test results, data, and defects to stakeholders.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in API test automation using REST Assured, Karate, Selenium, Cucumber, Java.
- Knowledge of testing lifecycle, techniques, and tools.
- Ability to design test plans, write test scenarios, and execute test cases.
- Proficiency in writing high-quality, reusable test code.
- Strong communication skills for reporting status and progress.
