As part of the 1440Sports team you will work in a fast-paced, high growth and fun culture in an exciting industry focused on our major NASCAR client where you will be part of the burgeoning sales and commercial function. You will play a pivotal role in building our commercial pipeline.</p> <p><b>Core Responsibilities:</b></p> <ul><li>Proactively using outbound cold calling (75-100 x Daily Calls) to introduce various sponsorship opportunities</li> <li>Be prepared to travel to the US to host prospective clients when appropriate / relevant </li> <li>Taking a strategic approach to nurturing and developing new business pipeline</li> <li>Use Salesforce to ensure all new prospects and opportunities are uploaded correctly with full details</li> <li>Generate lead lists of appropriate businesses to approach</li> <li>Achieve all monthly and annual targets as assigned</li> <li>Maintain complete knowledge of property offerings to maximise opportunities and benefit to client’s needs</li> <li>Develop and maintain a broader industry and general economic knowledge</li> <li>Record relevant information resulting from calls made to prospects/customers by updating system tools/databases and managing sales pipeline</li> </ul><p><b>Key Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:</b></p> <ul><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills both internally and externally</li> <li>Attention to detail and an ability to think critically are crucial</li> <li>Uses initiative to thrive under pressure and adept at meeting challenging targets</li> <li>Able to organise and schedule activities and effectively manage time</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills</li> <li>The ability and desire to sell but with client needs and goals at forefront</li> <li>A high degree of self-motivation and ambition</li> <li>The skills to work both independently and as part of a team</li> <li>An understanding of the benefits of sponsorship to both B2C and B2B enterprises</li> </ul>
