The Role: Junior Key Account Manager (Automotive Channel)

Join our dynamic team as a Junior Key Account Manager and drive sales growth across leading automotive groups! We\’re seeking a proactive professional to explore new business opportunities with regional motor factors, fast-fit centers, and commercial automotive organisations. You\’ll engage directly with end-user automotive companies, providing on-site technical support and training.

Your mission: maximise opportunities for new product listings and capture competitive business in the Automotive Power Tools sector, with a focus on achieving 85% penetration and adding value with Hand Tools. Spend 2-3 days a week working with national accounts, supporting branch-level initiatives and end-user workouts. Account service levels.
To design and implement account development plans for the automotive channel.
To maintain high levels of awareness of market and competitor activity, customer trends and provide Business Unit Controllers and team members with this feedback.
To maintain a database of account information containing: contacts, product range, pricing and margins.
To monitor procedures to provide best possible customer service.
To effectively manage the available sales time and account activity, to deliver the desired performance.
To gain maximum account penetration and distribution of new products.

You care about quality – at every level. Experience to manage at key account level, involving the handling of senior account relationships – experienced buyers/sales managers and contractors.
Key Account knowledge / experience.
Understanding of Automotive an advantage.
