Who We Are: Wieland Provides, Inc. manufactures major components for heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) companies worldwide.
Weekend Shift Schedule: ($21 per hour) (After training rate: $23 per hour) Friday - Sunday: 6:00am - 6:00pm. Performance Evaluation at 90 days and 6 months with the potential for a $.50 increase after each evaluation. Pay increase based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all facets of the assembly and manufacturing of commercial and industrial HVAC heat exchangers.
- Read, interpret, understand and work from mechanical prints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, and other written, electronic or verbal instructions.
- Work with a variety of raw and synthetic materials, processes, safety and quality assurance.
- Operate various tools and equipment to assemble, paint, braze, test, handle, manipulate and move components, assemblies and final product.
- Use measuring and testing devices as well as visual inspection to ensure quality of product and conformity of prints, work instructions and standards.
- Maintain required miscellaneous records.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Power industrial Truck license and usage will be required.
- Perform work in various physical positions including standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, reaching and may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) requirement, including hearing protection, safety eyewear, safety footwear, face shield, and respirator if required.
- Mechanical knowledge of machines/tools and their uses and maintenance.
