We are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

About The Role…
The primary purpose of this role is to support manufacturing maintenance performance, to improve asset and equipment availability and achieve the required level of performance. The role will involve supporting the adherence to the Agility Maintenance schedule to deliver quality daily maintenance and repair plans, to a high standard. This includes carrying out scheduled, planned, reactive and preventative maintenance activities, that support manufacturing equipment OEE.
Key Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Support manufacturing asset / equipment weekly schedule, to ensure assets and equipment are available to operate, at the required level of performance.
- Support the transition from a reactive, to a planned preventative maintenance culture.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Manufacturing CNC equipment and tooling with demonstratable competence in fault diagnostics, maintenance and repair.
- In-depth knowledge of PLC, Invertors and Drives, demonstrable competence in fault diagnostics, maintenance and repair.
- Analysis of failures modes to create preventative maintenance regimes.
- Recording accurate feedback on tasks completed, including spare parts used, time taken, any changes required to the instruction, and any safety, reliability or performance concerns.
- In the event of a breakdown or critical defect being reported, use fault finding / diagnostic skills and provide leadership / support / technical guidance to carry out prompt reactive investigations.
- Provide feedback on findings in an appropriate and professional manner, report writing and leading problem solving activities to identify root cause and prevent re-occurrence.
- Work closely with Line Manager to establish mean time between failure techniques and apply cost effective mean time to repair methods to minimise production disruption and downtime impact.
- Responsible for the delivery of robust reports / data integrity, from asset inspections and maintenance; to detail any identified defects that are unable to be rectified.
- Contribute to any PPS reports associated with significant downtime.
- This role is expected to be flexible to support the manufacturing production requirements, to deliver the weekly schedule while also maximising production uptime and machinery performance.
- Must have comprehensive SHE awareness to report any SHE issues that may arise.
What We’re Looking For…
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Multi skilled (preferably electrical bias) Technician/Engineer - HNC/HND Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
- Recognised H&S training and competence.
- Experience in a similar factory / fabrication maintenance environment within a manufacturing maintenance background.
- CNC machine maintenance experience advantageous (Haas, Matsuura, Unisign, DMG Mori).
- Leadership / problem solving skills using common problem solving techniques.
- Experience in working in a modern lean manufacturing environment.
