About Our Client

Our client, a Manufacturing business based in East Kent, are seeking a Management Accountant to join them on a full-time and permanent basis. Job Description

  • Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
  • Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Monitor and control department costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to enhance financial efficiency
  • Providing financial analysis to support decision making
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Contributing to the development of financial systems and processes
  • Supporting internal audits
  • Working closely with other departments to improve financial performance
  • Completion of material costings within SAP
  • Participating in ad-hoc finance related projects as required

The Successful Applicant

  • CCAB qualified preferably (ICAEW, ACCA, CIPFA, ICAS and Chartered Accountants Ireland) but will consider part qualified, Finalist or QBE.
  • Previous experience working within a similar role within FMCG, Manufacturing or Supply Chain preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel (large data sets) and Power BI, SAP, ERP systems and familiarity with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
