What to expect
As a Head of Finance Business Partnering – Operations & Inquiry, you will be a senior member of the Finance Business Partnering team. Responsible for the development and delivery of functional strategies, always role modelling the Post Office behaviours and demonstrating a Postmaster first mindset. You will partner the Chief Operating Officer & separately the Inquiry Director and their teams for activities relating to Central Operations, Supply Chain, Property, Remediation and the Public Inquiry. Responsible for driving a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance in the teams you lead, delivering and driving decision-making across the Business, Customers and Partners.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Head of Finance with excellent leadership skills and qualities, demonstrable senior stakeholder relationships and expert finance advisor.
Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA & CIMA) extensive PQE experience at senior levels with strong financial leadership skills.
Experience
- Demonstrable experience leading large teams: collaborating with senior leaders, to shape and deliver functional strategy to achieve business objectives.
- Substantial experience convening multiple stakeholders and through successful relationships, leading key cross-functional projects to drive results across the organisation.
- Experience in leading and driving change aligned to functional and business strategies.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to develop and drive a commercially robust strategy, delivering bottom line value in a complex and/or fast-moving business.
- Leading and developing a team of experienced finance professionals who are committed to driving the Transformation plan.
- Demonstrate leadership and confidence and shared responsibility for the future of the business.
