I am working alongside a chartered accountancy based in the Bradford area who are looking to add a Payroll & Bookkeeper to their established team. They are going through a period of sustained growth and are looking for a part time candidate for 20-28 hours/week that will bring valuable experience to the team.
Key Duties/Tasks:
- Technical skills required including payroll systems & excel
- Support the busy payroll department high volume starters and leavers
- Must have reliable Excel as lots of manual processing
- High volume, fast paced
- Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries
- Ensuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set, for example Pension Contributions.
- Manual calculations
- Experience of accounts responsibilities such as processing VAT/general bookkeeping
- Pensions & HMRC Submissions experience
- Sage system ideally
