The Position Join a team focused on enabling commodity trading through robust engineering and advanced data tooling. You’ll work closely with domain experts to build systems that process alternative data and support modelling, decision-making, and performance analysis.

Collaborate with cloud platform specialists to create scalable systems for financial data management, performance tracking, and risk oversight.
Partner with researchers and data teams to construct tools that extract, validate, and prepare external data feeds used in commodities research.
Use statistical and machine learning methods to support analysis in markets such as agriculture, metals, and energy.
A software developer with 5+ years working in Python or another object-oriented environment.
Strong familiarity with tools and libraries for data processing and visualization (e.g., Comfortable deploying applications in cloud ecosystems, particularly AWS, and using infrastructure automation tools.
Experienced with building data workflows and managing databases; Airflow and SQL are especially valued.
A pragmatic engineer who follows clean development practices—version control, testing, packaging, etc.
Analytical and curious, with a background or interest in financial or commodity markets.
Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative, high-performance culture.
