Role Overview: We seek a passionate Inclusion Lead to promote inclusive practices, support student well-being, and ensure tailored support for every student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Intervention Delivery: Lead reading initiatives, managing interventions like phonics, Lexia, and one-on-one support.
- Collaboration and Guidance: Collaborate with SEND team, reading lead, teachers, and staff, providing expertise on reading ages and relevant information.
- Assessment Management: Maintain up-to-date reading assessments and centralized intervention records, regularly reviewing effectiveness.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and adjust reading interventions to improve student outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant degree or professional qualification.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a PRU.
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices, SEND, and safeguarding.
