Role Overview: We seek a passionate Inclusion Lead to promote inclusive practices, support student well-being, and ensure tailored support for every student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Intervention Delivery: Lead reading initiatives, managing interventions like phonics, Lexia, and one-on-one support.
  • Collaboration and Guidance: Collaborate with SEND team, reading lead, teachers, and staff, providing expertise on reading ages and relevant information.
  • Assessment Management: Maintain up-to-date reading assessments and centralized intervention records, regularly reviewing effectiveness.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and adjust reading interventions to improve student outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant degree or professional qualification.
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within a PRU.
  • Knowledge of inclusive education practices, SEND, and safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
