We are looking for an inquisitive and highly organised Credit Controller to join our finance and pricing team. Reporting into our Finance Director, the Credit Controller will be responsible for our monthly invoicing, debt control and collection. The role will require identification and reviewing of debit, chasing outstanding debts and liaising with various stakeholders internally and externally, whilst following processes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, review and manage customer debt
  • Chase the company’s debtor and liaise with debt collectors when necessary
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries or disputes
  • Maintain accurate records in both Excel and Salesforce
  • Follow company credit control policies and procedures to mitigate financial risk
  • Gather data for, generate and reconcile monthly invoices
  • Other ad-hoc tasks
  • Monitor and prioritise the credit control inbox daily, responding to queries, escalating issues where needed, and ensuring no communication is overlooked

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently and professionally engage with customers and other stakeholders in the business to resolve debt issues
  • High attention to detail
  • Highly organised and the ability to manage multiple accounts, track status and prioritise workload
  • Experience with Excel
  • Salesforce experience would be a nice to have
