Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly. Manage and monitor the accounts payable ledger effectively. Assist in month-end financial reporting and accrual preparation. Handle payment runs, including BACS and cheque payments. Support the wider accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks. Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Build positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Profile A successful Accounts Payable Clerk professional should have: Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar financial role. A strong understanding of accounting and finance principles. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
