This company is seeking an exceptional Analytical Development Scientist to join their innovative team.Job Title: Analytical Development ScientistVacancy type: 6 Month Temp Rolling (potential for permanent) Area: SkiptonSalary: DOEThe Role:As an Analytical Development Scientist, you will be responsible for contributing to the successful and timely development of novel and generic pharmaceutical products. Your key duties will include:Developing, validating, and transferring analytical methods to support the characterisation of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and drug productsMeasuring critical physicochemical properties to identify potential stability, manufacturing, and performance issuesActively managing priorities and schedules to meet or exceed project milestonesAuthoring and reviewing technical documents, such as protocols, reports, test methods, and operating proceduresCollaborating with cross-functional teams to design and execute studiesThe Ideal Candidate for the Analytical Development Scientist RoleTo thrive in this role, you will need:A proven, recent track record in analytical chemistry, with experience in techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS, FT-IR, UV-vis, and physical characterisation – Experience working with solid dosage forms is highly desirable.Recent hands-on experience in analytical method development and validation, particularly in HPLC and dissolutionA Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in a relevant field, such as Chemistry or Pharmaceutical SciencesIdeally 2 or more years of experience in analytical developmentStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishA working knowledge of regulatory requirements, including FDA, EMEA, and VICH/ICH guidelinesExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environmentIf you are interested in this role and require more information, please contact Selby De Klerk.
