About the Role My client, a leading UK based IT Services organisation, are seeking people who have around a year of experience within IT Support to work in a team of supportive and hardworking teammates. Your key role will be a customer facing support role providing up to L1 technical and process support by using various technology to help diagnose and remediate reactive requests from customers of the company.
Responsibilities Being able to use customer provided tools to handle inbound and outbound contact with users via phone, email, chat, while documenting troubleshooting to resolve the issue or elevate to second line teams within the required timescale.
Managing support tickets to ensure these have been updated and resolved as per procedure.
Understand and respond to feedback from ticket quality reviews.
Candidate Requirements 1+ year exposure using and troubleshooting at least L1 technology support.
Knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Application / Database / Windows or Linux OS / Networks / Firewall / Storage / Backups.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Demonstrable experience delivering exceptional customer service.
Flexibility to support the 24x7x365 shift model.
