Contract for a Development Engineer – Air & Fuel Systems

Location: Peterborough onsite

Sector: Industrial Diesel Engines (up to 7 litres)

As a Design & Development Engineer, you\’ll take ownership of critical air and fuel system components. Collaborating with global teams, you’ll be involved from concept through to production, achieving world-class performance, reliability, and quality.

You’ll become a vital part of a high-performing team known for its technical excellence, collaborative spirit, and real-world impact.

Your Expertise:

• 6+ years in off-highway diesel engine development
• Strong background in:
• Fuel systems, air systems, EGR systems, and turbochargers
• Engine performance and data analysis
• APQP, FMEA, and DVP&R processes
• Proficient in:
• 3D CAD design using PTC Creo
• PLM systems such as Siemens TeamCenter
• Simulation, rig testing, and full system testing
