Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs, and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide. The successful candidate will provide executive-level administrative and organizational support to the Global Director of Fundraising, including managing diaries, communications, travel arrangements, and supporting meetings to ensure efficient workflow and operational success.
What You Will Be Doing
- Coordinate the Global Director of Fundraising’s workload, activities, and diary, managing priorities and avoiding clashes.
- Organize all travel, including accommodation and logistical arrangements within budget.
- Support meetings by preparing materials, collating Board Packs, and taking minutes.
- Provide administrative support to other senior staff, prioritizing the Global Director’s needs.
- Manage complex schedules and priorities proactively.
- Handle correspondence, inquiries, and expenses efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use a computer effectively, including good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to visit other locations and stand/walk as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry light to medium loads up to 12 pounds.
