Devonshire Appointments is now looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to work alongside the existing team to build a client base within the Marketing sector. We are interested in hiring an experienced recruitment consultant who has worked in freelance and permanent recruitment within the marketing or creative sector and has established a solid client base.
Ideal Background:
- Consultant who has dealt with the corporate market, ideally finance or professional services
- Experience with Master vendors
- Proven ability to build good working relations with clients and candidates
- Experience with temporary recruitment and understanding of temporary labour laws
- High standard of written and spoken English
- Proven track record of building and maintaining a profitable desk
- Highly numerate – able to process temporary charges quickly and accurately
- Commercially aware, able to read and understand P&L statements and client terms confidently
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a recruitment desk servicing both freelance and permanent hires within the Marketing sector
- Business development with prospective clients and reestablishing connections with previous clients
- Interview candidates, meet with clients regularly, and attend industry events and networking opportunities
- Maintain and expand client relationships, including cross-selling with colleagues
- Write appealing job adverts to attract suitable candidates
- Stay updated on employment law changes affecting hiring practices
This role is primarily remote, but regular travel to meet clients and candidates, as well as meetings with colleagues in the City of London, is expected. We offer a generous base salary, industry-leading commission structure, and a comprehensive benefits package, which is uncommon in the recruitment sector.
