Are you an experienced sustainability consultant looking for a new role in real estate? We are looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join our team to help us deliver our real estate Green Building Certification services. We are a Sustainable Real Estate consultancy, guiding clients on reducing their environmental impact. We specialise in green building certification, building performance and Net Zero Carbon planning across the asset lifecycle.
Our Vision: We see a world where buildings are net positive contributors to the environment, human health & wellbeing and the economy. To provide portfolio and asset level insights to decision makers in real estate and enable them to accelerate change to a low impact economy.
You will be part of our Green Building Certification (GBC) team. This is a full-time hybrid role, but with a regular presence required in London for team meetings, site visits and industry events. The candidate will be part of a team delivering a range of projects with a strong focus on refurbishment and fit-out. Each GBC team member is a "Project Coordinator" and requires the competence to coordinate multiple deliverables, either directly or in cooperation with the wider Verte team.
- 3+ years’ work experience in consultancy
- Ability to manage sustainability certification schemes
- Experience working on fast paced fit-out projects
- Experience working closely with contractors to tight programmes
- Net Zero, Circularity, Wellbeing
- Capable project manager, coordinating multiple deliverables on each project
- Good understanding of real estate commercial drivers and the interactions with sustainability
- Understanding of Net Zero Carbon, NABERS and wider ESG principles
- Experience undertaking planning submissions, in particular in alignment with GLA requirements
- Licensed SKA Assessor (training can be provided)
- Experience working with contractors and supply chains
- Experienced formulating sustainability strategies
Remote working (needs to live within commuting distance to London). 25 days' annual leave per year (bank holidays excluded) plus 3 days additional annual leave over the Christmas period. Medical cover. Training.
