As a Confined Space Operative in the rail industry, your primary responsibility will be to perform work in confined spaces in a safe and efficient manner. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Job Duties:
Entering and working in confined spaces such as tunnels, shafts, and other enclosed areas within the rail infrastructure Carrying out concrete repair work as required Operating within strict health and safety guidelines to ensure personal safety and that of colleagues Using PASMA equipment effectively for access and work in confined spaces Following all relevant procedures and protocols related to confined space operations Required Qualifications:
BTA – Basic Track Awareness certificate Valid PASMA certification Valid Confined space certification Experience in concrete repair work Education:
Relevant vocational training or qualification in construction or a related field Experience:
Prior experience working in confined spaces, preferably within the rail industry Demonstrated ability to carry out concrete repair work efficiently and effectively Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to confined space work Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a team environment Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues and supervisors Working Conditions:
