Associate Tutor for L4 Academic Skills for Psychology An excellent opportunity to work as an Associate Tutor supporting the teaching team on the BSc Psychology programme. Your role will be to support teaching in order to enable students to complete their studies successfully and undertake related course administrative duties as required. Your main responsibility will be to prepare and run studying skills focused seminars, teach, and mark assessments on the Academic Skills for Psychology first-year, Level 4 module. Most incumbents of roles at this level will be employed as part of their general academic development and will undertake this work independently but in parallel with postgraduate studies. In addition to the criteria specified in the job pack below, candidates must have: A first degree in Psychology or an equivalent relevant qualification. Advanced experience in using a range of statistical techniques and report writing suitable for quantitative psychological science research. A good working knowledge of SPSS. The ability to work both as part of a team and independently as appropriate and have the ability to support teaching. A willingness to engage in reflective practice. This is a fixed-term appointment for 11 weeks from 9th October 2023 to 1 January 2024, working 3 hours per week on Mondays from 6 pm to 9 pm. Remuneration #J-18808-Ljbffr
