Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our agile Scrum team, contributing to the development and delivery of cutting-edge software solutions in the Satellite Communications domain. This role involves working across the full software development lifecycle, with a strong focus on test automation, exploratory testing, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate and verify code quality for new product development using agile methodologies.
- Design, implement, and execute manual and automated test cases using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and Postman.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Interpret Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) diagrams to inform test planning.
- Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and daily stand-ups.
- Produce and maintain test documentation in line with project standards.
- Support Test Readiness Boards and Test Reviews under the guidance of the Test Lead.
- Work independently and collaboratively to complete test phases across the development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of Agile development processes.
- Proven experience in test automation using Java and Selenium.
- Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs using Postman or similar tools.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git and Jira.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to deliver results on time and within scope.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Cucumber for BDD testing.
- Understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

Additional Information
Due to the nature of the work, some on-site presence is required. The frequency will be tailored to individual and team needs. Candidates must be eligible to obtain or currently hold Security Clearance (SC).
