Your Key Responsibilities As a Senior Reporter Will Include

• Writing long-form features on investment funds, global financial markets, economic indicators, and relevant events.
• Writing shorter breaking news articles on events in the funds industry and global financial markets.
• Using your ability to convey complex financial information in an understandable and engaging manner for readers.
• Developing a deep understanding of FE fundinfo\’s fund data analysis tools and using them to create original data-driven journalism pieces.
• Fostering relationships with press officers, fund managers, financial analysts, and other investment professionals to build a comprehensive contact book.
• Attending industry events, conferences, and seminars to network with potential sources and gather exclusive insights.

You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Senior Reporter:

• You must have previous experience in business or financial press; reporting on investments is preferable.
• You will have knowledge of the UK funds industry.
• You should have strong writing skills, confidence with numbers, and the ability to work to deadlines.
• You will possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• You must have strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
