AMLR is working in partnership with a reputable engineering company who are currently recruiting for a skilled reliable time served CAD CAM technician to join their team, specialising in the world's longest established supplier of compression tooling in the pharmaceutical sector. Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents and subject to a DBS check.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Able to use CAD CAM software to create models and programmes of parts for the manufacture of compression tooling
- Able to operate the die mould CNC milling machines
- Able to inspect own work using various measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, calipers, clocks and graphs
- Polish and finish fine detailed embossing
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical reports
- Able to work to minimal supervision
- Industry knowledge and experience
Qualifications and Skills:
- An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable
- Minimum 3 years CAD CAM experience
