Fram are working with a chartered financial planning firm with offices across the UK. Due to growth within the firm, they are looking for a Financial Planning support Team Leader to manage a team of 5 administrators across two offices. The role will be based in Preston, looking after a small team there with 2 further administrators in the Manchester office, managed remotely.
As a Team Leader, you will ensure that the admin team operates effectively by training, managing, and providing support to all administrative personnel. This support function is an integral and very important part of the delivery of advice services by the Advisers to their valued clients.
Key responsibilities:- Support and allocate work to the administration team
- Provide training and development to CSOs
- Support the development of processes within the Financial Planning Support team
- Review Management Information to support the delivery of a financial planning service and the development team
- Support clients and Financial Planners through phone, email, and video
- Handle client enquiries and liaise with providers
- Promote the Personal Financial Portal and process Vouched For referrals
- Book appointments, manage diaries, and prepare complex meeting packs
- Submit instructions to platforms/providers
- Work closely with the Financial Planners on all aspects of their day-to-day work with clients
- Support the Financial Planners in preparation for client meetings
- Work closely with product providers on changes to clients' policies
- Open and scan mail and distribute it accordingly
- Ensure that client records, the back-office system, and shared folders are maintained and up to date
- Contact new and existing clients to obtain information on behalf of Financial Planners
- Work closely with the paraplanners and other key stakeholders to support clients and the delivery of a Financial Planning Service and Financial Planning advice
- Provide New business support as required
- Generate fee invoices using the company’s systems
The successful candidate will work very closely with the admin team, Advisers, Paraplanners, and Operations to support the delivery of advice to the Adviser’s clients. The office environment is busy, and the role can be challenging, so the successful candidate needs to be able to work as part of a team and adapt to changing requirements. Good communication skills will be important, as is the accuracy of output and working to agreed timescales. Candidates need to be computer literate with MS Office Suite experience, with experience of IO, and able to adapt to new ways of working.
