The Growth Company (GC) is seeking a highly organized and motivated Team Support Co-ordinator to join their busy team. This fixed-term role until 31 March 2025 involves supporting the project manager and a remote team (5-20 members) with daily operations. GC Business Growth Hub is a community dedicated to helping businesses across Greater Manchester achieve their ambitions. Since 2011, the Hub has supported over 15,000 businesses through finance guidance, international links, and innovation programs. We collaborate with public and private partners to offer tailored support, events, and funding opportunities.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Handling inquiries via calls, emails, face-to-face interactions
- Coordinating with advisors to ensure client allocation within 48 hours, including planning visits and meetings
- Using in-house systems, CRMs, and databases for data entry and management
- Planning and promoting meetings, events, and seminars; managing registrations and feedback
- Processing applications, subscriptions, and ensuring compliance with policies and documentation
- Producing management reports on performance, impact, and funding
- Raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and conducting financial reconciliations
- Monitoring visits, suppliers, and contractors to ensure contractual compliance
Experience required:
- Experience with compliance in publicly funded programs
- Effective communication with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face
- Project delivery within deadlines and managing priorities
- Performance data tracking and reporting
- Proficiency with CRM and in-house systems
- Knowledge of contract management and compliance in public funding
