An opportunity for a foodservice National Account Manager to join a well-established food manufacturer based in Lancashire.
This role of National Account Manager is working for a well-established and family-owned food manufacturing business. The business has a great heritage and a strong people culture. Due to the growth in demand and new product innovation, the company is looking to expand their commercial team with a National Account Manager that is dedicated to the foodservice sector.
There will be an opportunity to manage and develop key accounts as well as identifying and developing opportunities with new customers. Your role will be as a trusted advisor to the business in terms of the foodservice channel, the opportunities that exist, and ideally a network of contacts to ensure you hit the ground running.
- You will have current and proven experience across the UK foodservice sector.
- It would be ideal to have contacts across different sectors of foodservice including HORECA, Wholesale, and RTM.
- You must have experience of sales and account management in Food manufacturing β ideally fast-paced or short shelf life.
- You will have sales training and degree or equivalent education.
- Understanding of category management and business planning is essential.
- Ideally, this is a site-based role when not out with customers; however, there may be some flexibility for hybrid working depending on experience.
