Site Engineer

RTL Group are currently recruiting for a permanent Piling Site / Setting Out Engineer to join a respected and growing specialist piling contractor based in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on a key role delivering a range of piling and deep foundation projects across the Midlands and beyond. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out for CFA, rotary, or driven piling systems using Total Station and GPS * Reading and interpreting technical drawings and pile layouts * Providing accurate levels and measurements to site teams * Ensuring piling works are delivered to specification and tolerances * Keeping detailed site records, QA documentation, and as-built data * Coordinating with project managers, supervisors, and client engineers * Supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance on site Requirements: Needs piling experience will be office based 80% of time and visiting sites and mentoring juniors the other 20%.
