Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Multi-Trader to join their ever-expanding team. You must have experience with UPVC windows and doors.
Responsibilities of the Multi-Trader – UPVC:
- Completion of all work tasks to the highest quality standard, providing high levels of customer service within given timescales.
- Measuring and installing double glazed unit and single glazed glass.
- Measuring and replacing euro key cylinders for doors.
- Measuring and replacing a variety of hinges, multi locks, windows and doors espag locks and handles.
- Adjusting doors that may have dropped on hinges i.e. re toe and heeling.
- Surveying for replacement products if the product is deemed to be beyond repair.
- Assist other trades, contractors or Client staff where required.
- Liaising and building good working relationships with clients staff and tenants, contractors and colleagues.
- Liaising and building good working relationships with other team members.
- Completing all required documentation to required accuracy standards and return to the office in a timely manner.
- Maintaining all company issued equipment, including Vehicles, in good working condition.
- Maintaining adequate levels of standard issue stock.
- Maintaining a safe working environment.
- Carry out such further tasks as may be from time to time delegated to you by your team leader or management.
Requirements of the Multi-Trader – UPVC:
- General knowledge of upvc products, wooden and aluminium products, past installing experience is preferable.
- Previous social housing experience.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Good team player but also able and happy to work on own initiative.
- Understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
- Full UK driving licence.
