Based at St Paul's RC Academy, you will work full time, 37 hours per week for Children and Families Services Technical Services Team.

Requirements

You will have an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in a technical related subject or be a time-served crafts person.

Responsibilities

You will provide an efficient technical support service throughout the Children and Families Service, supporting CDT teaching staff to deliver learning and teaching activities. This includes ensuring the effective use of technical resources and designated staff, undertaking technician service functions, providing repair and maintenance of materials and equipment, and ensuring adherence to Health & Safety Regulations.

The Individual

You will have technical knowledge gained in an education setting or busy work environment. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT is essential. You will have a working knowledge of health and safety matters and experience in analytical work/problem solving. Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to manage your own work with remote supervision are required. You should be willing to work with pupils in a classroom setting and be prepared to undertake relevant training.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check before a formal offer of employment is made by Dundee City Council.
