Internal Sales Coordinator – Freight Forwarder – Profile Streamline Search are recruiting on behalf of our client. Our client has been established for nearly 50 years and are experienced in the Freight and Logistics industry. They are based in Tilbury at the heart of the shipping industry in the Southeast. They handle importations and exportations of all/any cargos by multimodal means- Air, Sea, Road & Rail. They are looking for a proactive Sales & Development Executive with experience of all modes of transport to enhance their busy team. Internal Sales Coordinator – Freight Forwarder – Requirements Ideally at least 2 years\’ experience in selling sea, air, and road freight in a forwarding environment. A proven track record in sales and business development. Good overall knowledge of the Global freight industry. Good negotiation skills. Strong telesales experience. Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills and friendly personality. Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Outstanding English and Mathematics skills. Internal Sales Coordinator – Freight Forwarder – Responsibilities Identify and source new business opportunities, leveraging your own leads and those provided by the Sales and Operations teams. Develop new sales across FCL/LCL sea freight, air freight, and road freight, for both imports and exports. Operate flexibly, with responsibilities both in-office and in the field. Bring transferable business connections (advantageous but not essential). Prepare accurate quotations, ensuring the inclusion of all relevant terms and clauses.
