At Apexanalytix, we help some of the world’s largest companies stay ahead of risk. The Opportunity
We’re looking for a smart, curious, and technically capable individual to join our growing cyber threat team. This is a junior role, ideal for someone in their second cyber security position who wants to step into a fast-paced, high-impact environment. You’ll be working directly with the Head of Cyber Threat Analysis, helping to assess supplier exposure, track threat actor behaviours, and identify vulnerabilities across global supply chains. It’s a rare chance to be part of a tight-knit team tackling real-world threats — at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the delivery of threat intelligence and vulnerability assessments for global clients.
- Monitoring threat actor activity, emerging vulnerabilities, and cyber trends relevant to third-party risk.
- Conducting technical analysis on suppliers’ digital footprints, exposures, and risk indicators.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and briefings for both internal teams and clients.
- Collaborating with colleagues across cyber, compliance, and procurement disciplines.
- Maintaining and improving data sources, tooling, and dashboards used for analysis.
- Contributing to the continuous development of our threat models and methodologies.
Who You Are
- You have 1–2 years’ experience in cyber threat analysis, cyber intelligence, or vulnerability management.
- You’re comfortable with technical tools and concepts — from CVEs and open-source intelligence (OSINT) to threat actors and attack surfaces.
- You’re analytical, organised, and good at spotting patterns and connecting dots.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills — and can present findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
- You thrive in a team but can work independently and take initiative.
- You’re excited about working on live threats, real risks, and global clients — and you’re keen to learn.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with supplier or third-party risk management.
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, dark web monitoring, or threat actor profiling.
- Experience with tools like Shodan and Threat Intelligence Platforms.
- An interest in how procurement, compliance, and cyber intersect.
Why Join Us
- Work with experienced analysts and thought leaders in third-party cyber risk.
- Make a meaningful impact with clients in finance, pharma, manufacturing, and beyond.
- Get exposure to the full lifecycle of cyber threat intelligence in a commercial setting.
- Build skills and experience that set you up for a successful long-term career in cyber.
