Are you an experienced CNC Gear Grinder with a passion for precision engineering? Do you have a proven track record of setting and operating gear grinding machines to produce high-quality components? If so, we want to hear from you. This is your chance to join an innovative, industry-respected, and rapidly growing engineering and manufacturing business operating across multiple sectors. As a CNC Gear Grinder, you will become an integral part of the production team. You will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality components. Your responsibilities as a CNC Gear Grinder: * Work from detailed drawings, process sheets, tooling instructions, and standard charts to identify component and manufacturing specifications. * Set, programme, edit, operate, and run state-of-the-art gear grinding machines. * Compute data such as dimensions, speeds, feed rates, and machine times to ensure precision. * Determine the best practice machining methods for each part based on your experience. * Collaborate with the team leader and works manager to resolve issues and meet customer specifications. * Operate multiple machines as required to meet production targets. Your current experience which will help you as a CNC Gear Grinder: * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role. * Extensive experience working with precision components. * Demonstrable experience with gear grinding machinery, with Hoffler experience being advantageous. * Ability to work independently and efficiently in a manufacturing environment. What you can expect as a CNC Gear Grinder: * Up to £22 per hour, dependent on experience * Friday, Saturday, Sunday (1.3x Rate on Saturday & Sunday) * Healthcare cash plan scheme. * Company pension. * Holiday allowance: 24 days + bank holidays.
