We’re on the hunt for a visionary Head of Design to lead creative across a buzzing, fast-paced digital agency. If you’re someone who can turn pixels into pure magic and lead a team with heart, brains and swagger — we want to talk to you. You’ll be working across a mix of exciting clients: from bold challenger brands to big-name retailers and cult-status fashion houses. Think design that not only looks great but performs beautifully — across eComm, UX, UI, digital products and more. And if you like your agency life with a good dose of energy, creativity, autonomy and after-work cocktails, you’re going to love it here.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and evolving the design function across the studio
- Shaping standout UX/UI across high-performing Magento eComm sites
- Turning briefs into bold, user-first creative that actually converts
- Mentoring a small but mighty team of designers and freelancers
- Creating wireframes, user flows, design systems and high-fidelity visuals
- Collaborating with developers, PMs, and clients like a true partner
- Bringing strong visual direction and creative innovation to everything you touch
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years in digital design (at least 4 in an agency setting)
- A strong portfolio of UX/UI work for eCommerce
- Deep experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite & prototyping tools
- A great eye for responsive design, accessibility & performance
- Experience working on Magento/Adobe Commerce platforms
- Leadership skills — mentoring, managing, inspiring
- Solid client communication chops — you can lead the room
- Agile-friendly ways of working
Bonus points if you’ve got:
- CRO & A/B testing know-how
- Motion design skills (Lottie, After Effects etc)
- A feel for frontend tech (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Experience in building or evolving brand identities
The vibe:
You’ll join a sociable, talented, and supportive team who genuinely care about the work and each other. The London studio is in a great spot near Tower Bridge and brings all the good vibes: creative energy, collaborative culture, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting. Hybrid set-up: 2 days in-office (Tues & Thurs), flexible the rest of the week. 'Work From Anywhere' scheme: up to 4 weeks per year abroad.
