We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Materials Operative to join our warehouse operations team in Echt, Aberdeenshire.
In this role, you’ll act as a key point of contact for both onshore and offshore operations, ensuring materials are efficiently managed, moved, and stored in line with operational standards. You’ll help build strong relationships with internal and client teams while playing a vital role in ensuring inventory accuracy and logistical coordination.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute safe, efficient, and cost-effective warehouse and materials handling operations
- Manage inventory through work orders, stock movements, repairs, and scrap disposals
- Coordinate shipments with sailing schedules and arrange transport or inspection when required
- Record all material movements accurately on ERP systems
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and service issues
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships and respond to queries professionally
- Contribute to continuous improvement and identify process inefficiencies or duplications
- Forklift Licenses: 0-5T Reach and 5-15T Counterbalance
- IT literacy and strong time management skills
- Solutions-oriented with high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset
