The successful Project Engineer will be working for a rapidly expanding electrical control and distribution company. You will be providing quotations and drawings that meet customer specifications, turning these into full build drawings, bills of materials, and issuing these to Production. The role involves working to project timescales and delivering to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Liaising with contractors and consultants via telephone and email to provide quotations.
- Ensuring all customer quotations are processed and issued in line with expectations and timescales, presented clearly and accurately.
- Collaborating with other engineers on bespoke requirements and complex specifications.
- Visiting sites as necessary to review customer requirements.
- Producing RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements).
- Producing drawings according to customer specifications and obtaining approval.
- Ordering materials.
- Managing projects throughout their lifecycle.
The successful candidate will hold an Electrical Engineering qualification and have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Using AutoCAD 2D.
- Understanding or experience with Switchgear & LV Switchgear Systems (desirable).
