About the role
The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations across Scotland focusing on driving revenue growth and increasing EBIT for the Livingston depot and supporting locations. As the Area Sales Manager, you will be specifically responsible for:
- Building strong value adding relationships with existing customers
- Prospecting for new customers and new opportunities with existing customers
- Working closely with depot network and internal Service Centre colleagues
- Continuous personal development on product and application knowledge
- Contributing to and working with SLD data systems especially CRM system
- Managing commercials to ensure order profitability
- Increasing the level of awareness of customers of SLD Pumps & Power and associated companies within the region
- Providing reports on customer enquiries, hires and sales in the designated area
- Assisting in the collection of payments due for services provided in the designated area
To be successful in the role you should have:
- Outside sales experience to construction industry
- Experience in specifying and selling pump solutions
- Experience with electrical power supply equipment like generators/solar/battery storage solutions or with plant rental will be beneficial
- UK driving license
- Good MS Office skills
- Great communication and negotiation skills
- Customer focus and result driven attitude
