Salary: Base £25,500 with monthly commission opportunities.
Hybrid: Flexible working (office and home based), Glasgow City Centre
Shift and schedule: Glasgow Service Room is open Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm and Sundays 9:30am – 6pm. You will work on a rotational shift pattern within those hours and work (currently) 1 in 5 Sundays.
Role Overview
As a Sales and Service Agent in ABG’s Quick Pass Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering an end-to-end Digital Check-In Service. You will engage with customers both domestic and globally, handling their queries, and providing a seamless, efficient pre-rental experience. This hybrid role allows you to work flexibly, delivering personalised service and achieving sales targets while helping us set new industry standards.
This person will be responsible for ensuring we obtain vital information from our customers in advance of their arrival to reduce unnecessary contact between our employees and customers, reduce wait times, and offer our customers a better rental experience.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers via phone and email to collect information and expedite their rental process.
- Ensure a seamless customer journey by resolving queries promptly and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Carry out mandatory pre-rental checks, highlighting any potential risks and following company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Maximise revenue by recommending and selling additional products and services, to meet both personal and team sales targets.
- Effectively resolve customer concerns using proven techniques like Listen, Own, and Resolve.
Skills/Experience
- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- Prior sales experience (telesales preferable but not essential).
- Proficient in MS Office Applications.
- Strong communication skills (both verbally & written), with the ability to build rapport and adapt to varying customer types.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and prioritisation of workload.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Resilient with the ability to consistently perform under pressure.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is desirable but not essential.
