We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager in Cambridgeshire on a full time contract (37.5 hours per week) and must have a full drivers license. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to take the next step in their career and progress their development.
As an Assistant Service Manager, you will report to the Service Manager. Working alongside them, you will help to support a team of Support Workers and ensure the smooth running of the services. A full license is essential as this is across 3 locations; Supported Living in Cambridge, Community Support in Yaxley and Community Support in St Neots.
As an Assistant Service Manager you will:
- Have strong communication skills with the people we support, colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Be confident to support with leading and managing a team.
- Be flexible, ensuring there is adequate support across the management team on site.
- Previous supervisory experience is desirable but not an essential.
- This role requires you to be a driver.
What will you be doing as an Assistant Service Manager?
- Be confident in using a computer and electronic systems to complete tasks.
- Supporting the Service Manager with agreed management tasks.
- Supporting the team with their development.
- Ensuring compliance across the team and services.
- Show a willingness to support the services where needed.
